Practical Knowledge for Families
My goal is for this website to be a resource filled with usable, practical knowledge for busy families. I will give you my go-to recipes that have been crash tested on my family (poor, unwilling Guinea pigs). Also, practical takeaways from popular books discussing parenting, social issues, nutrition, health, work-life balance, etc.
My own experience has been that there are many, many books filled with great information. However, as soon as I put down a book, I forget 90% of whatever I just thought was so important. The format of a book doesn’t lend itself to quickly re-accessing just the important stuff. So this will be the spot where I’m organizing the practical knowledge and takeaways that I’m keeping on my radar.
I also hope this can be a community where you can give feedback on what you want to learn more about. I want to hear what works and what doesn’t work for you.

Essentially, I’m trying to put together a resource of handy recipes for families with young kids. This means recipes for mom, for the kids, and for the family.
I have organized my recipes into categories so you can find what you need quickly. Whether you’re looking to fiber-up your child, looking for good muffin recipes, trying to lose baby weight, craving a good dessert, trying to serve a meal for the whole family, or don’t care as long as it’s on the table in under 30 minutes, there is something for you here!
